Welcome To The Fort

Situated in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada overlooking the Caribbean Sea, The Fort is a carefully designed space created to make you feel you are home.
The hostel is a special project, close to the heart. The idea was to revitalize the original concept of the hostel and provide our guests with a communal space filled with home comforts with a clean and crisp design that opens our minds on living in complete harmony with nature.

Tayrona National Park and The Lost City Trek

Tayrona: Hike 2.5 hours from El Zaino entrance to the wonderful beaches of La Piscina, Cabo San Juan or Arrecifes or alternatively test your stamina with the big loop from Calabazo where you will pass the less known areas of the park including El Pueblito and Playa Brava.
Lost City Trek: Embark on an extraordinary 4-day, 3-night expedition into the heart of the Colombian jungle to uncover the mysteries of a forgotten city. Traverse lush jungle trails, navigate rivers, marvel at the ancient ruins crafted by the Tayrona civilization centuries ago and immerse yourself in the rich indigenous culture of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
