At The Fort, we believe that good food brings people together. Our kitchen is designed to be the heart of the hostel community, open air and surrounded by beautiful views to leave guests feeling inspired and adventurous.

The space is fully equipped and we even have some recipe books in case you’re stuck for ideas. Whether you’re a seasoned chef or just looking to whip up a quick snack, our kitchen has everything you need.

We understand that cooking can be frustrating if the kitchen is not ample or equipped. We promise our guests the best equipped hostel kitchen on the coast of Colombia.

Important Information

Opening Hours

The Kitchen is open to guests daily between the hours of 10am-7am. Between these hours guests may prepare anything they like or make use of the space in general.
Cooking classes and other occasional staff use of the kitchen may run on specific days depending on events held in the hostel at the time.
All guests must clean up after themselves after using the kitchen.

Closing Hours

The Kitchen is not available to guests between the hours of 7:00am and 10:00am. During these hours the hostel breakfast service is provided and guests cannot use the facilities at this time. If guests would like to make their own breakfasts, they must do so out of these hours.
The kitchen may be closed on occasion due to hostel events such as cooking classes or Christmas and NY. We reserve the right for full use of the kitchen when providing a food service for guests.

At The Fort we try to fuse our passion for food and drink with our interest in culture. Join us for regular cooking classes where you can learn new recipes, share your culinary skills, and bond with fellow guests. It’s a fantastic way to experience different cultures through food.
